Taking the 33

It’s not often that I turn red from drinking. In fact, the last time I can remember someone telling me that I turned red, the next morning, I went around collecting various things I had left in each of my roommates rooms— a left sock in Grace’s room, a right shoe in Shirley’s, a phone in Norm’s… this was at Milvia House, so we had a lot of roommates.

Last night someone told me I looked like I was turning red from drinking— all you can eat and drink at Shabu House is awesome. This morning… err… afternoon… I took the 33 out to inner Richmond to pick up my car. Then drove to Amy’s to pick up my camera and hobo tool (awesome white elephant gift, thanks Mike). Along the way, I saw an awesome sunset from up on a hill on the bus, checked out a cool boutique artsy place (Park Life), and bought some books from Green Apple books. I saw the title ‘Alone in the Kitchen with an Eggplant’ and knew I had to get it for Song-My. I think it’s a collection of whimsical short stories about cooking.

Anyway, there seems to be a lot of cool stuff out in the Richmond. I’ll have to explore it some more. I’ll probably take the 33 again or ride a bike. Parking out there is a pain.

ps. Thanks for the ride home last night Steve.
